Pool Safety

Dear Bluefins Parents,

As we dive into another exciting season with our swim team, it's essential to address a crucial safety concern: running on the pool deck.

While our focus is undoubtedly on achieving success in the pool, safety remains paramount. Running on the deck poses a significant risk of accidents and injuries.  In the last few days there have been many minor slips but unfortunately tonight we had one of our swimmers fall and break a tooth.  We really want to prevent any further injuries.

I kindly request your cooperation in reinforcing the importance of walking, rather than running, on the pool deck with your children. Here are some key points to emphasize:

  1. Safety First:Encourage your children to prioritize safety by walking cautiously on the pool deck.
  2. Awareness is Key:Remind them to remain vigilant and watch out for potential hazards or obstacles.
  3. Leading by Example:Your adherence to safety guidelines sets a powerful example for our young athletes.

By instilling a culture of safety-conscious behavior, we not only protect our swimmers but also contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.

Should you have any questions or require further assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to our board members or coaching staff.

Thank you for your collaboration and dedication to ensuring the safety and success of our swim team.

Sincerely

Brodie Peariso

President
